WEEK #12 - Trust in the Lord

This week I want to talk about trials because we all have them! 

The picture below was last Monday when we were on our way back to our apartment after the day...It was storming and I was not prepared :) 

My companions face when I asked him to take my picture was priceless hahaha. 

When we got back into our apartment after drying off and changing I went back to my desk and looked at where my scriptures were last open. 

Joshua 1:9 

Have I not commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Simple yet beyond powerful! 

I knew in that simple storm that the Lord was with me, watching me, and loving me with a perfect everlasting love like he has for all of us! 

I love you all so very much and am grateful to be here in Peru even during the times I'm scared* or missing y'all.

**** NOTE FROM MOM: I wanted to know the deeper definition of "scared"  - was he really fearful or not? This was his reply: No I'm talking about like the whole normal feeling of holy cow I'm a 5'3'' American kid in Peru trying to speak Spanish sort of deal! Everyone deals with it ;) Well maybe not the 5' 3'' part hahaha
