WEEK 31 - Movin' and Shakin'

Hermana Vellasco's 23rd Birthday!!

Halo fam and friends. 

Martes - This past Tuesday was crazy. It was transfer day - There was lots of big changes and so a lot of the day was spent helping missionaries leave our area and helping new missionaries get adjusted to Puno. We had 4 other missionaries stay with us the night before the change...it was crazy!!

We played Zone Leaders because the other elders lost their phone. (Thanks to Elder Duron for that important rid bit!)

Hermana Shyrlay took like 8 missionaries to a super fancy seafood restaurant for lunch...she's too nice!! We LOVE her!!

We spent the day with Elder Barrios and celebrated Hermana Vellasco´s 23rd birthday! Some fun pics and vids from that! 

We had a cita with a recent convert to the church and it was super spiritual. Crazy good day! 

At night after dinner Elder Barrios started to teach me how to do the Rubix Cube! 

Miercoles - At 11 am I had the rubix cube mastered. Now I can do it in less than a minute and a half! Pretty cool hahaha.

We played more zone leader and we picked up Elder Barrios´ companion from the terminal and then did divisions with them for the rest of the day. It's hard being Zone Leaders!

The new elder broke our shower and we don't know what he did so we've been with cold showers since then....Brrrrrrrr

Jueves - In the morning we took out our money for the change and had a relaxed morning. 

The other two elders left at 1! 

At night we had a cita (Lesson) with Gustavo and he asked me to baptize him next Saturday. I literally tried to convince him to use a local member but he wouldnt have it..what a guy. 

Viernes - We had a new investigator this day!! We were able to teach a lesson to Harold's mom! It was super powerful and she told us that she knows what we're doing is right and she should listen with her son!! Super excited about this!! 

We went to the market and I bought myself a rubix cube! Supa dope. 

Then at night we played soccer and had 3 investigators come to our activity! That was super fun! 

Sabado - In the morning we played volleyball on our concha with a bunch of people! Were starting to get little questions like what does "elder" mean? 

At 11 we had a cita (lesson) with Harold and his little brother about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It went really well! 

In the afternoon we were walking through a market and we saw a bunch of Goat heads on a table for sale...super wack

INSERT MOM QUESTION: WHY DIDN'T I GET A PIC OF THE GOAT HEADS?????? HE DID NOT HAVE HIS CAMERA!!! UGH!!!

Domingo - At church we had 4 investigators come! It was super cool!  After church we went to a chifa with Hermana Shyrlay and fam.

We played Soccer here on our Pday!!

That night we had a meeting for goals by the stake and then we stayed with the Chanu Chanu guys again and I had to break into their house...lots o fun.

Lunes - Today we played soccer all morning and now were writing woop woop

FROM ELDER CLOBES:  That is Hermana Ximena (pronounced Jee-meh-nah)
with Elder Barrios in the chapel of Central.
Barrios was transferred to that ward and taught her most of her lessons
right after she was baptized. She's super cool.
