Week 72 - Transferring to Siquani!!

Well my time in Abancay has come to a close!! 

Tomorrow at 6:15 am I will be traveling to Cusco and from Cusco to a place called Sicuani. I will be 3 hours from Cusco.

Its a place with A LOT of history...not a good one. Should be a fun experience. I know my new companion, Elder Llanos, hes a really fun guy! It will be cool for yall to meet him at Christmas. He is from the same place in Bolivia as Elder Zárate. They're like best friends. 

It's a zone of 14 missionaries and it POSSIBLE that this will be my last area. 

I feel like I have finished my work here in Abancay. They will be opening another brand new sector in Abancay so it will now be a zone of 14 and when I started it was only 10 so it has been progressing a lot. I was able to have 8 baptisms here.

Sicuani has not had sisters there for a long time. SO my goal is to get sisters back into sicuani...we will see how that goes. 

I feel grateful for the opportunity I had to be in Abancay and am excited and grateful for the upcoming chance I will have in Sicuani.

New Companion

Hi fam!! Happy December and Happy 12 days until Skype!! 

I will start with the statement that God is testing me and I will not let him down. 

This area has been through a ton and I feel a ton of trust being put here. 

Lots of reasons but one example is my comp just got punched in our internet cafe...the guy that hit him was smart not coming after me because he knew I woulda hit back... :)

The trip made me more sick but i did it all in one day. All smooth

3.) Tell me all about your new companion?

He is very similar to Elder Zárate but I have to say that he's supportive and I can feel that he TRULY cares for me and what I feel. Very cool guy.

5.) How will accommodations be for apartment?

6.) What SEASON are you in? What’s it like?

Its summer...not suuuper hot though. It's going to get cold soon though hahaha
