WEEK 17 & WEEK 18 Trio Week

Hey there friends!! Happy December!!

This week we had 15 appointments planned and 10 canceled on us! A bit discouraging at times but my Dad made a joke this week that I think we can all learn a great lesson from!

When I told him about how many appointments failed he said ´´It's like your Mom when she takes pictures. She takes 100 pictures to make sure she has at least 1 good one.´´ Isn't he hilarious!? I wonder if my Mom thinks so 😂😋

I know my Dad said this joking but man is he right! If we set 100 appointments there is no way they all cancel right? ;) New life motto!! Take 100 pictures!

MESSAGE FROM MOM:

Those who know me know I went to UT a few weeks back. I met with a bunch of other Cusco Missionary Moms (we met on Facebook) and we packaged a whole bunch of gifts for the missionaries serving in the mission. Special packages were made for the elders and sisters who would not have any Christmas gifts from home, but EVERY missionary got something special. There was a family of a sister missionary who was planning on going to Cusco to pick up their daughter at the conclusion of her mission so they agreed to take our gifts. This week was the big week. SO MUCH FUN SEEING these pics on Facebook. THANKS to the Allens for their kindness in delivering everything!! It was truly a labor of love!!
