WEEK 66 and 67 - Staying in Abancay & Elder Duron is HERE!

   

 NOV 1 -  

I will be staying in Abancay with my companion this change! But good news: Elder Duron will be coming to my zone training a new missionary in a new sector! He will probably be living with us for a little while. I'M SUPER EXCITED!!! 

Everything this week has been busy busy busy busy busy with changes...but with Elder Duron here it's gonna be great! Tell his mother THANKS FOR RAISING A GUY LIKE HIM. Blessing lives of all types out here. 

Something I have learned in the mission is that a month goes very fast.






NOV 5 - 

From Friday to Monday of last week was fast hahaha. Thursday night Elder Duron and Elder Armstrong showed up and we partied. 

Friday, we had the baptism of Jose which was really really special! Fun time. 

Saturday we tried to find new investigators with not much luck. We have been really exhausted from the transfers but Sunday we met some new people who came to church which was cool!

Today we played paintball and had an appointment in the morning. More than anything we are working with members and other missionaries right now. Please pray for us to have more success finding others to teach.

We did just one service project this week which was cool! We made a fence out of bamboo and no, I didn't take pictures. Sorry.

You asked about our ward. We are actually in a branch of 80 members. There is no stake here. Just a district. 

My heart and testimony is strong. This morning we had an appointment with a guy named Y. He has been having a lot of challenges lately. This morning we taught him The Plan of Salvation and we talked about the Atonement of Jesus Christ. 

John 3:16 AND 17 are very important. 

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
